Live Model Art Classes with Female Motivators
About the Art Classes
These art classes, which Thomas likes to call Figurations, use live models – The Sitters. During Black History Month, our guest sitters will feature female leaders that are making history right now- TODAY!
We are what we have experienced and what we do now creates a new history, a new experience. Surrounded by Thomas’ fervent depictions of female presence, during these art classes participants will create using multimedia art techniques. You will sketch, listen to stories, write poetry or simply vibe with a camera in your hand! Participants are encouraged to enjoy the journey of art creation through Thomas’ lens and their own imagination and art. This art class hopes to bring together the concept of The Sublime into its real-life expression. True art jamming.
Join us! Classes will take place on Wednesdays, 6-8pm starting February 1st running until April 5th.
Bring your own art materials! Upon request, drawing pad + set of pencils /charcoal and wine tickets will be available for purchase.
