Blissues presents Black Music Month Events

During Black Music Month (June 2022), Blissues is partnering with The CNE to bring a full month of programming to the Withrow Common Art Gallery, located on the CNE Grounds at 200 Princes’ Boulevard in Toronto, Ontario. The programming will be Black-centered and music-focused, encompassing various areas of Black music, primarily performance, art and education.

For the duration of the month, the gallery will feature an installation entitled “Everything Remains Raw”, a collective of archival materials documenting the evolution of Canadian Hip-Hop. In addition to the month-long exhibit, the event series will include dance workshops, live performances and community-led events in partnership with both established and up-and-coming organizations.
