A National Celebration of Small Works & Big Hearts

We’re inviting Canadian artists from coast to coast to coast to showcase small-format, affordable, original works in our upcoming 2025 Christmas Holiday Art Sale Exhibition, featuring 300+ pieces at Withrow Common Gallery.

Show opens: Nov 15 – Dec 26, 2025

Vernissage: Nov 20, 2025

Eligibility

• Applications for the 2025 Withrow Common Gallery Christmas Holiday Art Sale are open to all living Canadian artists aged 18 or older
• Application open to Canadian citizens and permanent residences
• Price range of each work: $50 – $1,500
• AI-generated work will not be accepted
• Only original works. No reproductions
• Entries must not be copied or derived from other copyrighted works (e.g., published paintings, photographs, etc.)

Submission Guidelines

• All mediums welcome: painting, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, and mixed media
• Submit up to 5 artworks
• Application fee: $35 (non-refundable)
• Size limits (including frame/base): 2D – Min 8 x 8 inches / Max 14” x 14”, 3D/Sculpture – Max 14″ x 14″ x 14″
• Formats: squares and circles
• Selected artists will be notified by October 15, 2025
• All 2D work must be ready to hang with D-rings and wire attached. Sculptures must be securely mounted on a stable base
• Artwork Drop-Off: November 5 – 10, 2025
• Unsold Artwork Pick-Up: December 27 – 30, 2025
• Price range of each work: $50 – $1,500
• The gallery commission is 50% of sold artworks
• Payments for sold works will be issued within 30 days after the show closes
• Artists are responsible for packaging, delivery, return and shipping of any unsold works

Requirements for Online Application

1. Digital Images: Submit up to 5 digital images:
   – File format: JPG
   – Resolution: 72 dpi
   – Size: Max 1.5 MB each
   – Dimensions: Longest side between 1024–2600 px
   – File naming format:
   Lastname,Firstname 1_Title_Size_Medium_year_Price.jpg
   (e.g., Miller,Joan1_WinterLight_10x10_oilonpanel_2025_$700.00.jpg)
2. Application Fee: $35 (non-refundable)
3. Artist Info:
   – Full name
   – Address (City, Province, Postal Code)
   – Email
   – Phone number
   – Website and/or social media
4. Artist Documents (1 page total): 
   – Short bio (max 150 words) and Artist CV

Please note:

1. Artists submitting their work should be aware that inclusion is not guaranteed, as this opportunity involves a juried selection process.
2. Artists are responsible for insuring their work during transportation to and from the gallery, as well as for the duration of the exhibition.
