CNE in Color – The Joyful Lens of Scooter Korek
Withrow Common Gallery | Presented in association with the CNE

About Exhibition
Step inside the fairgrounds through the eyes of Greg “Scooter” Korek—a longtime CNE organizer and ride safety specialist with a passion for photography. This vibrant exhibition features Korek’s personal archive of candid images spanning night scenes, food, rides, music, sculptures, and the people of the CNE, along with a few photos from the Warriors Parade and a rare 1937 color film of the Fair. Rich in color and storytelling, the photos capture joy, nostalgia, and a deep sense of community. Though not a professional artist, Korek’s insider perspective offers an authentic, heartfelt tribute to the spirit of the Canadian National Exhibition.
